RECIPE OF THE MONTH
~Chef D Allen's Fruit Salad that brings healthy and summer fresh to your table!~
1 large - Watermelon
2 - Pineapple
2 pints - Blueberries
2 lbs - Strawberries
2 lb - Grapes, green
THINGS YOU NEED
Melon Baller Scoop
Rinse all fruit, dry with paper towel and set aside, except watermelon.
Rinse watermelon and dry with paper towel. Slice in half to split. Take melon ball scoop and scoop the watermelon into bowl. Continue until the bottom of the watermelon or you can no longer make balls. Clean the inside of the watermelon with a spoon until a little watermelon is left inside, but smooth.
(Safety Alert: do not cut towards yourself, cut away. The knife should be opposite of you)
- If pineapples are already sliced, cut into cubes and place in bowl. You can purchase pineapple slices or cubes in your local grocery store.
- Drain fruit juices from bowl and place all fruit inside of the watermelon. Keep chilled until serving!
